PK2/88 REMOTE CONTROL UNIT

Designed to be flexible and keep the ripener prepared for the unforeseen, this optional variation of the Kwik Ripe ethylene gas generator can be used as per standard use or can be flawlessly integrated into existing automated ripening systems. This can be done using a potential-free contact and the remote control interface on the rear of the Kwik Ripe gas machine, as seen above. The integration can be simple and quick to set up in standard cases while the plug and play features of the base model remain, allowing our gas generator to be easily disconnected and removed from the ripening storage unit for any security, maintenance and safety requirements!

Once our gas generator is setup, the ripener can simply flip the remote control interface switch to the “ON” position. While in the “ON” position the gas generator will enter a standby mode and preheat the reactor over an approximate 20 minutes, once acclimated it will await for communication from the existing automated ripening system before dosing and gassing the storage room. This method of ripening is ideal for controlled environments, allowing the ripener total control over ethylene ppm levels and statistical analysis!

Additionally, in the case of a failed automated ripening system or bottled gas shortages, the ripener can switch the gas generator’s remote control interface to the “OFF” position to ignore any commands and continue the ripening process per manual ripening methods.
